Angela's love for Colorado began at the age of 10 on her first ski trip. She has lived in the Centennial state for half of her life and has been helping clients in Steamboat since 2006. She loves helping her clients navigate the ever-changing real estate market and is experienced in handling a multitude of transactions. She received the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award in 2019 and in 2018, she was awarded the "Above the Crowd Award" for the RE/MAX Mountain Region. This award recognizes and agent who is well-rounded and considered an invaluable resource to an office, their peers and RE/MAX. In 2017 and 2018 she achieved the RE/MAX Platinum Club in sales and consistently performs in the top tier of producers among her colleagues. Her knowledge base is broad due to her background and dedication to stay on top of the Steamboat Springs real estate market and is enhanced by her years serving on the Steamboat Springs Board of Realtors. Her commitment to her clients is to be honest, truthful and persistent in her representation of their needs. She was Chair for the Steamboat Association of REALTORS in 2016-17 and awarded REALTOR of the Year in 2016-17. She was also selected to serve on the Community Housing Steering Committee that convened over a year to determine the housing needs for the community and to provide a road map for sustaining housing in the future. Her degree is in marketing and advertising and has been in in sales, marketing and management since 1988. Additionally, she has been involved in the start-up of a few companies including a local non-profit organization and loves the entrepreneurial and community spirit that is pervasive in Steamboat Springs. Community Involvement She served 5 years as the volunteer Chairperson of Yampa Valley Sustainability Council and was instrumental in the startup and growth of the organization in 2008. Her time on the board allowed her to be involved in many community-wide discussions with stakeholders, government, businesses and individuals. This involvement has enhanced her knowledge of the many aspects of what makes a mountain community thrive and what it takes to come together on important issues. She has contributed time and funds to Impact 100 throughout the years, Tour de Steamboat and various other non-profit events. Her crazy yellow lab Hazie keeps her busy and in her spare time...skiing, biking, hiking, traveling, cooking, art and being a part of positive change for the community.
