I came to Seattle from Chicago 33 years ago and fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. Soon after, in 1990, I founded the Real Estate Gals. Ever since, I’ve done everything I can to help my clients.  Whether that means coordinating updates to maximize a home’s value, helping someone prepare for their move, cleaning a client’s yard, getting them settled into their new neighborhood, or anything else that makes for a smooth transition, I’m 100% committed to my clients’ best interests.

I’m also passionate about LGBTQ+ rights, immigrant rights, social justice, homelessness, and animal causes—I founded Agents of Change, and I’ve personally supported organizations such as the GSBA, the Pride Foundation, PAWS, Pasado’s Safe Haven, New Vocations Horse Rescue, and others. I’m currently learning Spanish with the hope of becoming fluent. I also love to sing, bicycle, work around the house, and travel.   I help my clients make the best decisions for their future. I consider their unique financial situation, their goals and values, and their long-term future. If the best decision for them is to wait a few years until the market improves, or to remodel instead of buying a new house—that’s what I recommend. Some of my happiest moments are when I convince a potential client *not* to work with me, because even in those moments, I'm helping someone make the best decision for their future. For the same reason, I help my clients with the difficult, “non-essential” complications of transitioning into a new living situation. If someone's move comes with a heavy emotional burden or difficult logistics, they don’t have to carry those alone. Whether my client is buying their first home, upgrading spur-of-the-moment after an accidental pregnancy, relocating for work, searching for a new start after a divorce or loved one’s death, downsizing now that the kids have moved out, or moving into assisted living, I can help. I’ve helped hundred of clients through all sorts of life transitions. I make the process stress-free and rewarding. Working with the Real Estate Gals team lets me put a “We do more” philosophy in action. We always have someone ready to help with whatever you need. If you’re a buyer, we set up appointments, handle inspections, educate you about the market, and work at your pace. If you’re a seller, we take care of interior cleaning, pay for staging, bring in a professional photographer, and sell your home for its highest possible value. No matter who you are, we support you throughout the process.

Johnine's consultative approach makes sure you get not only the best deal but the right deal for your lifestyle. She truly cares about her clients and that a home is the most important financial and emotional investment one generally makes in life.

Johnine and the Real Estate Gals are honest, dependable, and incredibly knowledgable about everything real estate—from getting a house ready for the market, finding the best mortgage lender, to negotiating the best deals. She's been working in Seattle's real estate market since 1990, and it shows! Johnine knows both the market and this city inside and out. I'd recommend her and her team to anyone looking to buy or sell.
