Michael helped us sell My Mother-in Law's house after she passed away last year. My wife and I, and her siblings, were in a confused and grieving state of mind to say the least. Michael took the listing and immediately put us at ease. We discussed what the house needed, and what we could sell it for "as is' and what we could sell it for with some work put into it. He arranged for cleaning the house, doing needed repairs and painting inside and out. This plan really was the best for us, and Michael's experience and knowledge paid off. The house was in Sarasota FL and we live on the East Coast, almost a four hour drive. My wife's other siblings are all from other states. It was wonderful to have Michael take charge of scheduling repairs and inspections when we couldn't be there. We think he went above and beyond what most real estate agents would have done. In every step in the process he was knowledgable and understanding of our situation, since we just lost a loved one. We came to think of him as almost one of the family. If you are thinking of buying or selling a home we would highly recommend Michael Ballantyne for a real estate agent. You will not find a better one. We wish we could leave six or seven stars, five doesn't seem enough.

Michael went above and beyond to help us find our perfect home. He was very familiar with the area and was so helpful as we were buying a home and we were out of state and couldnt be there. Michael helped us when we were having trouble communicating with our lender and got us through that stressful time. He was very knowledgeable and professional and had all the answers when we needed them. He also helped us negotiate a great deal on our new home. We worked with Michael Ballantyne to sell our house in Sarasota and he was outstanding. If I could add a sixth or seventh star I definitely would do so! Before we met Michael we have been trying to sell our house for over a year and we were concerned if we ever could sell this property. Michael made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps many other realtors don't, like fixing things we didn't see before, having professional photographs taken, a 3D walkthrough presentation, and a lot(!) more. Eventually, we settled on a beautiful property next to the shore in Sarasota. Michael went out of his way to help, was always there for me when I needed advice, always cheerful and patient. I have recommended Michael Ballantyne to everyone I know. He's a true professional, efficient, always helpful, and kind. It would be challenging to find a better realtor. Whenever I'll have the next opportunity I definitely will work with Michael again.
