Review for Clint Moore by Terry K

The first time I met Clint Moore was in his office to initiate the selling process for out house. he was punctual, organized, a good listener and brief.
One of his recommendation was to hire a staging agent to place furnishing in the the empty house. After a short discussion, I said no. We are not going to spend money on a show of smoke and mirrors. We would rather give the perspective owners something tangible i.e. new appliances. A few days later he emailed me requesting to allow Intero to pay of the staging agent. I agreed.

We now live in Anchorage, Alaska, we did agree on the type inspections and the tasks that needed to be accomplished prior to the showing. He and his team acquired estimates and contracts in short notice for the following: painting the entire interior of the house and garage, replacement of the carpet, replacement of the range, washer and dryer, a myriad of inspections and repairs to the interior and a thorough cleaning of the interior and exterior.

I am an civil engineer. I have experience to scoping what needs to done, presenting this information to contractors who can accomplish the specified tasks, negotiating costs and the schedules, monitoring the progress and assuring quality and finally having the team complete the work on time. I was impressed that from that meeting to the time of the showing was less than 45 days.

After the meeting I returned home to Anchorage and he and his team provided updates of the progress through email. I liked a written record when reporting progress and deeds accomplished.

After the showing of one weekend, the reporting of the turnout for the showing, the scheduling of the deadline for offers on the Wednesday following the showing, the number of offers and the significant increase of the offers from the suggested price, I was convinced that they are professionals who know their market. They know what the market wants, they prepare the site and take photos that will entice the interest of persons who are looking to buy. They have the know-how from experience to do what needs to be done.

I said to Clint, your were right about the staging. I now see that the selling of real estate has changed and the value of the staging, the advertising and a compact time commitment to the showing and expected offerings. I is so efficient. I was so impressed that I told Clint I would now pay for the staging.
