Some of our favorite things about Jamis: They lead with their integrity. They are deeply trustworthy. They are a great communicator. They show up for their clients. They are funny. They are SO good at what they do. Jamis is everything we knew we wanted in a real estate agent plus all the stuff we didn’t think to wish for. They listened to us and supported us. They had our back. Sometimes that was really obvious in the moment, such as when we were in contract negotiations. Sometimes we were later in the process looking back and realizing that they under promised and over delivered time and time again. Jamis was always so on top of things that they often beat us to checking off boxes on the to do list (late night asbestos tape application for the win). If we had any complaint—and we don’t!—it would be that we barely got to use our Excel spreadsheet because we couldn’t get within three days of a deadline before they were done and ready for the next step. The day the for sale sign went up a neighbor called Jamis. The neighbor was yelling at Jamis about rising house costs. She said that she calls real estate agents often and they hang up on her. Jamis talked to this neighbor for over an hour, got into a real conversation with her, and ended up connecting friends of the caller with options for home purchasing with low resources. Jamis takes great care with people and holds the complexities of home and justice within an oppressive and harmful system. We can’t imagine a better home selling process thanks in large part to working with Jamis.

We started our home buying process from Australia, as we had been living there a few years. Being that far away and only having friends on the ground to help with viewings, we were very nervous about how it would all go. Jamis was focused, attentive, informative, and caring throughout the entire buying process. They showed up for us every day, no matter what needed to be done.
