As a native of Central Kentucky, Josh’s passion for real estate began in second grade when his parents decided to check out an open house. The moment he realized his family could switch houses, he set out on a mission to find a place with a bigger bedroom and a neighborhood full of friends. Every Sunday, he’d eagerly browse the newly listed homes in the real estate section of the newspaper, mapping out open houses and convincing his parents to take him.

Before obtaining his nursing degree at the University of Kentucky, Josh worked as an assistant to the broker at a real estate agency in his hometown of Danville. In early 2025, he joined the team at Rector Hayden Realtors, a trusted name in Central Kentucky real estate for over fifty years.

After spending the past decade as an ICU nurse, Josh has now transitioned to real estate full-time, bringing with him the same dedication, attention to detail, and client-first mindset that defined his healthcare career. His experience in high-pressure environments has shaped his ability to stay calm, advocate fiercely for others, and guide people through complex, emotional decisions—skills he now brings to every transaction.
