Rob Schlegel has a sterling reputation as a real estate agent, as a community leader, and also as a journalist. Rob specializes in providing excellent customer service and completing transactions efficiently and on time. He's been a full-time agent for the past 22 years. Rob Schlegel has a journalism background, serving as the de facto general manager for the Valley Times (daily) newspaper. He has owned and edited several publications in Southern Nevada, including 16 years as publisher of the Las Vegas Bugle. He is the part-time publisher of the Las Vegas Spectrum, the LGBTQIA+ and Progressive news magazine for Southern Nevada (mostly digital since COVID-19 era). Schlegel has been active in politics, having chaired political endorsement committees. He has actively lobbied for reforms in Nevada, particularly in areas related to social justice and equality-based civil rights laws. As a community leader, he participated in numerous charitable events and organizations. Previously, he served for ten years on the boards of the Community Counseling Center, the ACLU of Nevada, Nevadans for Constitutional Equality, and The Center (LGBTQ), and was a founder and past president of the LGBTQ pride organization in Las Vegas.
