Hi and welcome! Thanks for stopping in to learn a bit about me while researching real estate professionals. I've lived in Northern Virginia (Arlington County and Fairfax County) since the U.S. Army assigned me to the Defense Intelligence Agency in 1983. Following my military service, I enjoyed 16 years  in Information Technology working for both the federal government and private sector. In 2002 I said goodbye to computer projects and hello to the exciting world of residential real estate. I've been happily helping people buy, sell, and rent their homes ever since. I'm happy to help you, too. I realize the importance of home and community for all of us. This powerful quote from Maya Angelou always touches my heart: "The ache for home lives in all of us, the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned." I currently live in the western central part of Fairfax County with my beautiful wife, Lorraine, and our cute-as-a-button Toy Poodle, Penny. We absolutely love it here! For us, Northern Virginia is THE place to live, work and play! Some of the things we like to do include taking advantage of the numerous nearby national, regional, and county parks; geocaching; dancing; entertaining; musicals at the Kennedy Center; enjoying a good steak; discovering new restaurants; and chilling with good friends.
