I got started in real estate because it's sort of a family business. However, the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to be a voice for the voiceless. I was fortunate enough to have a great first time home buying experience but had all of the "What ifs" and fears of discrimination through the whole process until it was all said and done and "real". I want to be the voice in peoples' heads saying, "You've got this!" and informing them of every option along the way. The Realtors I dealt with before receiving my license were great, but they were CIS straight men that didn't understand my reservations I felt I had to keep to myself. As a lesbian Realtor, I want to ensure others in the LGBTQ+ community that homeownership is attainable. I want to create a sense of security and be their first call when they're ready to buy or sell. I want to become their friend and confidante, not just their realtor.
