Sometimes you meet people and you just know that it’s a fit. That’s how it was with Phillip and Shane. When my wife and I decided to sell our home during a pandemic, we knew we needed an agent who knew the market well and would have our best interests at heart. We were looking for someone who understood and could communicate the spirit of our home to potential buyers, as well as secure the highest possible price.
Phillip and Shane listened carefully to our story and what we loved about our home. From the start, we felt that they were invested in our success. Phillip’s industry knowledge and Shane’s amazing design sense stood out to us in our initial meeting and in their plans for how to list our home. It was evident to us that Phillip had deep experience in market trends and how to price listings correctly in a hot market.
As we were moving through the process, Phillip guided us through every decision that needed to be made with clear and frequent communication. He helped focus us on what was important and necessary to get the best sale experience. We appreciated his honest feedback and how he managed our expectations throughout the process.
Our home needed some repairs to really make it shine. Shane’s eye for mid-century design provided us with choices that made our home pop. We decided to move out of our house before the work was to begin. We agreed on an aggressive timeline for getting the house ready and on the market. Phillip and Shane managed all of the repairs and the scheduling of everyone involved. The contractors they recommended did great work on time and at a great price. This whole experience could have been very stressful but we were able to trust that our home was in experienced, caring hands.
Along the way, we questioned whether or not we needed to hire stagers. The price tag for staging was very high! Because of the trust we had in Phillip, we decided to embrace his recommendation to stage our home and in the end it was worth every penny and more so! Our home looked gorgeous and we think that was reflected in the final selling price.
Phillip was amazing during the time when the house was on the market. I’m fairly certain he never put his phone down! When it came time to review our offers, Phillip had clearly laid out all FIFTEEN offers so that we could easily examine the pros and cons of each offer. In the end we accepted an amazing offer that was well above asking price. We were completely overjoyed!
Phillip continued to manage the process through closing. The clear communication from both Phillip and Shane continued, and we always knew where things were in the process. We are so grateful to both of them for making our home sale experience the best it could have been. I’m sure we don’t even know the lengths to which they went to make everything happen for us. That’s just who they are. We’re thankful to now call them friends.
