NAGLREP Announces Sharing = Caring Initiative To Encourage Referrals Among Membership

AUGUST 12, 2020 – The National Association of Gay and Lesbian Real Estate Professionals (NAGLREP) is launching the Sharing = Caring Initiative, a new effort to raise awareness for referral business within its 2,800-member naglrep.com database.

In today’s socioeconomic climate, supporting the LGBT community and its allies is crucial for both rebuilding the economy and ensuring a future where every member of the American experience has equal opportunity to succeed in business and in life. With the Sharing = Caring Initiative, NAGLREP is seeking to increase referrals among its membership, with the triple pursuits of ensuring homebuyers are connected with the best real estate professionals to increase LGBT homeownership, building the bottom lines within the NAGLREP family and strengthening a national network committed to housing and workforce equality.

Under the Sharing = Caring Initiative, NAGLREP members who need to make referrals outside of their markets are encouraged to tap into the NAGLREP.com website to locate real estate professionals from the association’s membership database. The database entries include telephone and address contact data of the NAGLREP members, along with their social media websites, professional achievements, and the housing markets that they serve.

This new initiative will be given priority discussion in the upcoming NAGLREP Virtual Conference, to be held October 7-8, with new members learning on how to get the most out of the NAGLREP referral process while meeting the individual requirements within their companies. NAGLREP never charges a referral fee.

“I have had three customers contact me from the website and three referrals from members of the NAGLREP family,” said Keith Kennedy, Committee Chair of the Sharing = Caring Initiative. “As a Realtor in Fort Lauderdale, FL it is definitely a great addition to my current client base. It’s the best feeling to not only receive referrals and clients from the website, but also to refer and get to know other NAGLREP members from around the USA!”

Additional Committee members and contributors to the founding of the national initiative include Nicholas Acosta of Orlando, FL, Austin Black of Detroit, MI, Denise Hardy of Saco, ME, William Hobbs of Norcross, GA, Brad Keck of Atlanta, GA, and Jamie Zapata of San Antonio, TX,
