Sarah McBride, author and National Press Secretary for the Human Rights Campaign, movingly discusses her own journey as a transgender woman and advocate, as well as the state of the LGBTQ movement at a critical time. From rising violence to efforts to roll back progress at the federal level to anti-LGBTQ bills in many states, LGBTQ people are facing some of our most explicit attacks yet.
