David Hober is the owner and managing broker of Hober Realty. He has lived in metro Atlanta since 1977. He bought his first home at age 18 and immediately knew that he loved everything about the real estate. He obtained his real estate license at age 21 and worked as a sales associate for ERA real estate for 20 years. While there he earned various awards and designations (Million Dollar Club, Agent of the Month, Top Producer). In 2002, he obtained his Georgia Broker's license and continued working at ERA as an Associate Broker. In 2005, David left ERA and opened Hober Realty, an independent real estate company serving metro Atlanta. His goal is to have a flexible, forward thinking company that can see the future direction of the Atlanta real estate market and quickly adapt to the current market trends, leveraging off new technologies in order to truly give clients the world class service they deserve. David proudly continues his career-long membership in the National Association of Realtors as well as the Atlanta Realtors Association. Membership is not mandatory. Members (called 'Realtors') are held to a higher standard of conduct and code of Ethics than is required by Georgia law. Membership in these organizations is something David is very proud of. He has repeatedly been honored by the Atlanta Realtors Association as one of Atlanta’s top agents. David also holds the Accredited Buyer Representative designation (ABR). This requires additional training in order to specialize in Buyer Representation. Over one million people in the U.S. are licensed to sell real estate. Of those licensees, only about 5% are Accredited Buyer Representatives – David Hober is one of those few. In addition, during the real estate recession of 2007-2012, in order to best serve the needs of the community, David went back to class and earned the ‘Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource’ designation (SFR). In 2008, David earned the ‘Certified Residential Specialist’ (CRS) designation. This prestigious accreditation recognized by the National Association of Realtors ensures that Sellers have the professional representation they deserve. Only about 4% of all real estate agents have this specialized training. David was back to school again in 2015 – 2016 to earn the highest designation recognized by the National Association of Realtors – Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI). This course of study involved a series of classes and examinations which provided David with an in-depth market knowledge, specialized training on new real estate technologies, and a comprehensive review of legal matters impacting real estate transactions. “My mission is to utilize my God given strengths and talents, along with my 30+ years of Atlanta real estate experience in order to provide all my clients with consistently superior real estate consulting services."
