James Tola is an accomplished real estate advisor and broker for Sotheby's Realty International Asheville office, bringing 31 years of real estate expertise to the table. James has a deep understanding of the Asheville and western north carolina real estate market. James' professionalism, integrity and unwavering committment to his clients is at the core of his business. While working for KW Metro Atlanta, these qualities earned James earned James the distinction of being the top producing agent in sales volume and units for KW in the Southeast Region. James diverse background in service and education laid the foundtion for his client-centered approach in real estate. He is a graduated of Western Carolina University BSBA Marketing and Georgia State University Middle School Teaching Certification spending 5 years as a middle school teacher in the Gwinnett County Public School System in Georgia. James' love of architecture informs both his professional and personal life. Outside of real estate, he is actively engaged in community service inititives that foster food security and community engagement. James is a member of the Asheville chapter of the Rotary Club and is on the DEI committee. James is passionate about the outdoors and frequently exploring waterfall trails along the Blue Ridge Parkway. James also is passionate about travel to Europe and across America. James finds that javing family and friends around the table of a home cooked meal is a favorite way to foster relationships. James and his husband Keith have been married since 2004.
