Ultimately, we ended up in an amazing property we are very happy with thanks in no small part to Jackson. He was consistently available to show us properties we were interested in, and he was also extremely proactive in finding places he thought (and knew) would meet our needs and wants. He was always ahead of the game, and he consistently made sure we were one of the first people to see properties in a very fast-paced market. The home I ended up buying was actually a condo that Jackson found as soon as it went up for sale. He knew it would eventually be the perfect place for us, and he insisted we go see it ASAP. He was also extremely helpful in putting me in touch with lenders. I was even more impressed with Jackson when it came to the offer-making stage, where he strategically crafted offers with creative contingencies and pre-conditions that met our needs while still keeping the offers competitive. His attention to detail never waivered, and he made sure that I knew exactly what I was signing up for at each stage in the process. Jackson also went above and beyond in his interactions with our lender and developer in a unique situation where construction was delayed and we closed over an incomplete punch list. He stayed on top of the post-closing punch list repairs well after he needed to and went above and beyond his role as a realtor. He also took an active role in discussions with and between my developer and lender when construction was delayed and my rate lock was in jeopardy. I cannot recommend Jackson enough as a realtor who truly looks out for his client’s needs. He is intelligent, responsive, experienced, well-connected, a great multi-tasker, and an excellent critical thinker. He also knows each neighborhood of DC extremely well (including all of the LGBT friendly areas), which is vital in a market that is continually expanding. Jackson is the real deal, and you should be confident in trusting him with the purchase of your home.
