Having enjoyed many vacations along the southern Maine coast, Adam long felt the pull of Maine living and is thrilled to be able to enjoy the charm of Portland and its famously beautiful surroundings. As an agent for Brown Harris Stevens in Manhattan, Adam developed extensive experience navigating real estate transactions in a complex market and is happy to bring these skills to Maine. His experience with high-end properties matches well with the mission of Legacy Properties Sotheby’s International Realty, the leading Maine luxury property company.
Adam differentiates himself through a focus on customer service and attention to detail. At the core of his approach is the belief that clients must feel that they are being very well taken care of at all times, and that a good broker should buffer clients from the more stressful parts of the buying or selling process. Understanding that the real estate market of today involves a wealth of information easily available to buyers and sellers, Adam also sees the value of an agent as helping clients sort through information and prioritize what matters - helping them drill down into their specific market and developing a strategy to succeed.
Prior to working in real estate, Adam worked in institutional sales and marketing for prominent investment firms in New York, winning a long series of equity mandates from some of the world’s largest pension funds. Outside of work, Adam enjoys exploring the many cultural and culinary offerings of Portland just as much as he enjoys connecting with nature up and down the coast. He is a lover of historic architecture as well as art and literature. Adam travels extensively and as a certified scuba diver, he is a frequent visitor to Bonaire in the Dutch Caribbean. He is a member of the Portland Museum of Art and the Maine Historical Society and holds a degree in English Literature from the University of Maryland.
