I have been in the real estate business as an agent, attorney, broker and/or mortgage loan originator since 1993. I absolutely eat it up.  As an attorney, the bulk of my experience is in commercial real estate transactions but I also handle a great deal of residential, as well. My legal experience (licensed in California) translates to being a very competent loan originator.  While I was primarily focused on law, I am now refocused on residential loan origination in Florida, California, Illinois and Tennessee, but will be adding states as time passes. In 2019, I returned to my Alma Mater (Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach) from Los Angeles to live and slow down and just do the work I love doing.  In writing loans, I am able to take sometimes very complex and difficult situations and manage to close loans for my clients.  Everyone loves slam-dunk transactions, but is that really reflective of how the rest of the world works?  I do everything I can to accommodate all of my clients no matter their unique situation. For all intents and purposes, loan originators can all write loans and we are all pretty competitive, but what makes one originator more successful than the next is, in my opinion, the relationship that the originator establishes with his or her clients.  It is and always has been my practice to  be available 7 days per week and the time of the day generally makes no difference to me.  If I am not busy, I will answer the phone and attend to my clients' needs.  I have zero unanswered emails, texts, voicemails, smoke signals, etc.  Communication is the most important ingredient to this life, and I thrive on communication.
