Will you return my calls and emails?Yes. Without question. I realize this is one of the major frustrations the general public has with dealing with agents. I get dozens of calls and emails daily, and I work hard to reply as quickly as possible. My goal is typically within one business day.
I’ve met many Realtors who are jerks. Are you?Depends on who you ask. If you ask certain agents who have stood between my clients and their real estate goals, they’ll probably say “yes”. A handful of people think I leave golden footprints in the sand. Those are the two extremes, and most people’s opinion falls somewhere in the middle. Here’s what I can tell you: I’m honest and candid. I take pride in being approachable and friendly. And if you need a quick real estate brain, or a strong dose of honesty, you’re in the right place. Loyalty to family, clients, and friends is one of my core values. Want to really find out if I’m a jerk? Mess with one of those people.
Do You Have experience doing exactly what I need?Until you tell me what you need, there is no way of knowing. These are “strong suits” of mine: ● Working with new buyers ● First time sellers ● USDA / FHA ● Investment and Rental properties ● Property Management / Tenant Management If your goal or situation isn’t represented on that list, don’t worry. What kind of work are you really good at?On a personal level, I’m pretty good at making wine. My pomegranate Zinfandel is amazing I’m told. I’m also pretty good at kayaking, hiking, and in general being outdoors. I’m also really good at giving back to my community because community and culture is important to me and our long term well being as a race. On a professional level, here are the skill-sets that I’ve developed over the years: ● Listening. Unfortunately, it’s a lost art these days. ● Detail oriented. I know everyone says this but I’m pretty obsessive and a bit of a perfectionist. ● Organized. This is so important in real estate. Even a little disorganization can ruin a deal.

Jay will ask you to do two things: Provide him with your pre-approval letter and tell him what you want most in a home. After that, you really don't have to do anything. I know that last statement is not entirely true, but it feels that way. He covers everything! He answers all of your questions. He takes fear and uncertainty out of the process. Attending the home inspection. Negotiating a price reduction as a result of the home inspection. Providing a timeline for your reference during the process. Unfortunately the reason for selling our house is because of a marriage separation. As anyone can imagine this situation required some extra understanding and care.
