Originally from Duluth, Minnesota, John moved with his family to West Volusia County Florida in 1983. He graduated from DeLand High School with a major in accounting. John has worked over 20 years in Customer Service from Restaurant Management to Field Agent for several major insurance companies. In 2006 he acquired his Real Estate license. John has worked for several large Brokerages - ERA, RE/MAX, Weichert - before he and his partner Peter Kurkjian opened their own Brokerage in January 2012. Over the years the business has grown and added agents to become the successful company they are today. In December 2014, after 11 years together, John and Peter were legally married in Ashville North Carolina. He is also the proud dad of a 28 year old son.
