With three decades' experience in real estate and financial services, and with over $300 million in closed residential sales, Cody is a top DFW Realtor and licensed Texas broker, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and making the process of buying or real estate fun. He has been named among "America's Best Real Estate Agents" by REAL Trends and is a multiple honoree on D Magazine's "Best Realtors" list and the Five Star Real Estate Agent Award, featured in Texas Monthly. Cody has been featured on Fox 4 News and as a speaker at various real estate conferences. He is the recipient of the 2017 Founder's Award at his prior firm. Prior to real estate, Cody was a successful officer-level manager in the mortgage servicing industry with two Fortune 500 companies, and his experience includes presentations to rating agencies and bond insurers including S&P, Duff and Phelps, Moody's and Fitch.  He was a member of the corporate due diligence team at Lomas, where he evaluated the potential impact of various servicing acquisitions in the multi-billion dollar range. A past presenter at the Texas MBA annual conference, the Five Star Default Servicing Conference, and Texas State Bar Association's Continuing Legal Education program, Cody is also a past vice-chairman of the Forms and Contracts Committee for the MetroTex Association of Realtors and is currently on the Greater Metro MLS (GMMLS) board of directors. Cody is very involved in the DFW real estate market, including new and existing home sales, condominiums, town homes, high-rises and investment properties. He holds the Advanced Historic Home Specialist from Preservation Dallas, and holds the Global Luxury certification by Coldwell Banker to market luxury residential real estate. A graduate of Texas Tech University and long-time Dallas resident, Cody is an avid tennis player and enjoys traveling in his spare time.   His mission, like that of Compass, is to help everyone find their place in the world.
