I have to give a heartfelt thank you to Joey Kerns and Lou Chain for helping me from beginning to end with the purchase of my first new home and for being such affirming professionals. I received the referral for Joey and Lou through another LGBT community member who expressed high praise for help purchasing his first home. I had a lot of anxiety and little knowledge about the process, having never done this before. That meant endless questions and requests for feedback on the offer, process leading even past move-in. Joey was right by my side either in-person or via text through all of it. Not to mention, making him drive all over Portland to look at condos as I narrowed down my search. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and in particular for any more scaffolding than what was provided from their careful attendance. I will definitely return to them when I get my next home and recommend them to any new and especially first-time homer buyers.
