Review for Babs De Lay/Urban Ut by Jamie F

There are really no words grand enough to convey how grateful we are to Babs De Lay of Urban Utah Homes and Estates. As she once said to me, there was a reason we were drawn together.
I can’t imagine anyone else having the skills and motivation and fortitude that it took to sell our home during this uncertain and frightening time.
From the first time we met with Babs in February, until we closed in June, Babs was always up front and realistic with us. She gave us hope when we considered giving up when COVID hit. She was always available to respond to my emails or to answer all my neurotic OCD driven questions without making me feel stupid.
When traditional open houses and showings were literally on hold due to COVID, Babs came up with innovative ways of showing our home, both virtually, and with precautions in place on site. And all the while this was going on, Babs was volunteering her time, helping elderly friends and neighbors to find things like toilet paper and distilled water, and constantly making people aware of local business that needed our support.
Our house, was our HOME for almost 40 years. Babs was always mindful of this and treated us with thoughtfulness and compassion. We are forever grateful to Babs for helping us begin and new and exciting chapter of our lives. She is truly a master of her trade and it is very obvious she loves what she does.
We closed in June, at the beginning of Pride month which we felt very fitting. 🙂 and I would also like to express a HUGE thank you to Babs for being a role model and ray of hope to those young ‘uns and closeted folk (like some of the ones I taught over the past 37 years) who haven’t yet found their way. Babs is a huge credit to the LGBTQAI community.
We are honored, Babs, to have made your acquaintance and may our paths cross again someday.
