With 22 + years of experience in pediatric nursing, Andi has learned many things, the most important of which is how to take care of people. She believes that a crucial element of taking care of kids and their families is making connections; listening as they share their fears, challenges, hopes, desires, and goals. Her ability to connect with people will serve her well as she shifts gears into this e real estate industry. Real estate has been a strong interest of Andi's for years. Consequently she finally stopped resisting the pull and decided to change gears and jump in feet first to get her realtor's license. Selling and/or purchasing a home is an exciting, sometimes frightening, and usually a very stressful endeavor. Knowing firsthand how complicated this process can be, she will always do her very best to listen and help guide you through the process of achieving your home buying or selling dreams.
Andi grew up on the West Coast, a San Francisco native. (Talk about a crazy real estate market!) Raised by a single mother who happened to be a lifelong renter, her family moved around a lot. Attending a different school almost every year, she became determined that someday she'd be able to raise her own children with the ability to put down roots and grow up not only with longtime friends but a sense of place. When she left San Francisco in 2003 to do travel nursing, her first stop was Chicago. Something drew her to this area- it was more than just her love for the Cubs!- and she felt an instant connection with the city. It is here that she met her spouse, also a nurse. Together they traveled a bit more of the country before spending a wonderful 7 years in Seattle. When deciding to relocate back to Chicagoland, they chose Mount Prospect for its charm, strong sense of community, and award-winning schools. Now, almost 6 years later, they are raising their 8 year old twin daughters and staying active in the local community. And Andi can happily say that she is achieving the goal she set for her kids, who are building strong bonds with both their friends and the area.
Our home, and those we share it with, is at the heart of our lives. It's the place from which we set out each morning determined to make a difference during the day- or sometimes just get through it. And it's the place we return home each evening grateful to rejoin our families and share our day. It's the place where some of life's most important memories are made. Andi will make your home selling or buying experience a priority, because she understands just how important your home is.
