A Zest and Joy for Living Life to the Fullest Brings a Richness to Everything

Mark Eagle is a Realtor serving Fort Lauderdale, Wilton Manors, and the surrounding areas
Mark has been in Real Estate and property management for as long as he can remember, after getting a degree in journalism he worked a short time for newspapers and magazines, and a variety of jobs in group homes as well as some work with consumer credit counseling. Mark likes the freedom of being out of the office doing Real Estate as his main gig and doing pet sitting for a local company fulfills his love of animals. Mark recently opened his home up to be a host family for international students learning English. And finds this experience to be very rewarding. He enjoys the variety of his life and is having a good time living it.
Darla Michelsen: What is the biggest benefit that you offer your clients?
Mark Eagle: I believe it would be that I work very hands on with them and they won’t be passed off to an assistant or team member. I use my time wisely to provide the best attention having worked with a diverse population I feel I have true empathy for people.
DM: What do you love most about the area that you live and work?
ME: I love that we don’t have to deal with snow and ice here, a real tropical weather. I love the outdoor life here.
DM: What social cause are you the most passionate about?
ME: There are a couple of them that I’m very involved with “Abandon Pet Rescue of Fort Lauderdale” and they are a No Kill facility.
DM: Animals are a big part of your life and even Real Estate!
ME: Yes and my dog has been apart of my Real Estate marketing for years, I also support the Stonewall Library and archives.
DM: What are your hobbies and what do you like to do with your free time?
ME: I love to play Volleyball and I’m involved in a league here in Fort Lauderdale. I also love to go to flea markets, yard sales, and travel all over the world, my favorite is London with great theatre and shopping.
DM: What are three things about you that most people wouldn’t know?
ME: I collect World’s Fair memorabilia, when I was 5 years old I went to the New York World’s fair and it always stayed with me as a great memory. And I collect Owls! I also had weight lose surgery.
DM: If you could sing one song on American Idol what would it be?
ME: When I was a kid at Camp in 1968 I would go into the drama area and get on stage and play Band of Gold.
DM: If you could meet any person dead or alive who would it be and what would you ask them?
ME: Lorna Luft, Judy Garland’s daughter, How did you deal with not getting the attention over Liza?
DM: What is your Super power?
ME: I’m a bit psychic and very insightful into people’s lives
DM: What is your kryptonite?
ME: Not going with my gut feelings
DM: Answer this question... If I could turn back time I would?
ME: I would have never bought the powder blue leisure suit I wore to prom!
DM: If you could do any other job what would you be?
ME: A famous actor, a few years ago I went to California and went to see the “Price is Right” show, before the show starts music is playing and I took the opportunity to leave my seat and go to the stage and lead the audience in “YMCA” no one stopped me, I wish someone had taped it.
DM: Very cute story
DM: What is being a Great Real Estate broker to you?
ME: I think being sincere, and for me it’s being myself and making a connection with people, someone they want to continue working with and refer their friends and family.
