Anthony Hitt has served as the president & CEO of Engel & Völkers Americas since January of 2014, drawing upon the brand’s rich European history to deliver a fresh approach to luxury real estate in the Americas. Under Anthony’s leadership, the brand consists of approximately 150 real estate shops and more than 2,700 advisors, contributing to the Engel & Völkers’ global network of over 10,000 real estate advisors in more than 30 countries.
Prior to joining Engel & Völkers, Anthony was a top agent with Sotheby’s International Realty® in Los Angeles and closed approximately 400 real estate sales transactions amounting to nearly half a billion dollars in eight years. He was continually acknowledged for his business acumen and commitment to customer satisfaction by publications such as The Wall Street Journal and Los Angeles Times. Drawing from his experience, Anthony spent several years in brokerage management and traveled across the United States educating agents via his authored training course to help others achieve superior performance.
Anthony is a member of Forbes’ Real Estate Council, has been recognized on the Swanepoel list of “Top 200 Most Powerful People in Residential Real Estate” for three consecutive years and has been noted as a Real Estate Influencer by Inman News.
Anthony credits his business and real estate success to his philosophy of providing exceptionally personal customer service and constantly implementing the most up-to-date systems for efficiency and comprehensive service. He has authored several books to share his advice for success in business and in life with others, including Essentials of Personal Achievement, Taking Charge and Positive Impressions.
